Sue-footed Confidence

Brought my Yaktrax along during a trip through the Southwest in winter. Got me up Angels Landing at Zion with a foot of snow underfoot and very slippery, icy sandstone. Worked much better than the instep crampons my partner was using. Also a good choice on the icy and snowy rim of the Grand Canyon. Easy to put on and remove; stows easily in a backpack when not in use. Bought these to replace an 8-year-old pair of Yaktrax which broke. Over time, the rubber will snap from being stretched so much and from being subjected to temperature extremes. Check for stress before each use.
