We are planning a trip to Scotland where it is very wet so I needed a pair of waterproof walking shoes. I wanted something light and not real structured since I would be wearing these all day, everyday. These shoes are perfect. My first wearing was to a festival, walking on concrete for 6 hours. I haven't tested the waterproofing yet. I followed the suggestion that they run a little small so I ordered a 1/2 size larger than normal. The instep is in the correct place, the heel doesn't slip and even though they are Gore-Tex, my feet didn't get hot walking inside a heated building. I rate them more as a walking shoe than a hiking shoe but they would be fine for light trails. I am very pleased with these shoes.

First, these things are just plain ugly, unless you like the look of bowling shoes. Besides that, they fit too large and I didn't even bother walking about it them. They went back into the return box within 60 seconds.

These are great shoes!! The only problem I had was the sizing is a little different in hiking shoes verse regular EU sizing. For example I always order a (EU 40 which is size 9 USA) and these shoes are a (EU 41 for a size 9 USA). Be sure to check the boxes for size and pick the correct one. These shoes have great support and are wide enough for hiking shoes with socks on.

The hiking shoes out of Italy tweak their sizing so I had to exchange the size 40 for a 41 which is a size 9 US sizing. The 41's feel perfect just like all my other brands that are size 9 or 40 euro. These shoes are high quality and not only feel great but look great on. I cleaned house in them to test them and did ironing for over an hour and they felt very comfortable. I can't wait to go hiking in them now.

These are super comfortable, look good, and are true to size. Haven't had a chance to use them in extreme weather yet, but from a few puddles I've walked through, I think they'll be great. Really happy with this purchase

About Zamberlan

This brand’s tradition of manufacturing top-quality hiking boots actually dates back more than 85 years, when Giuseppe Zamberlan founded the company in Italy, (and it remains a family-owned business today). The history of Zamberlan boots and Vibram® outsoles are also intertwined. When Giuseppe Zamberlan and Vitali Bramani jointly developed the now-famous Vibram® all-terrain outsoles, Zamberlan hiking boots were among the first in the world to feature them. Today, Vibram® soles are standard on every pair of Zamberlan hiking boots. Other technology you’ll frequently find includes Gore-Tex® waterproof breathable inserts, Flex-STM technology for outstanding lateral support, Z-Tec anatomic lasts and many more. If you demand the absolute best, consider choosing a pair of hiking boots or mountaineering boots from Zamberlan. You won’t be disappointed.
