Please note the sizing, I did not pay attention to the sizing on my first order and just ordered the EURO size 40 which in most cases is a size 9 USA. The hiking shoes out of Italy tweak their sizing so I had to exchange the size 40 for a 41 which is a size 9 US sizing. The 41's feel perfect just l... Read More

Quality hiking shoes (materials and construction) with great heel and arch support and ample space in the toe box for metetarsal spread. Comfortable first wear requiring minimal break in. Waterproof as a bonus. Versatile color won't show the terrain you've traversed. True to size. I wish I had these 40 years ago when I started hiking, my feet are in much better shoes now. Thank you STP aNd Zamberlan for this great pair of shoes

These are well made shoes, but they run big. I usually wear a 6.5 and these were too big, thus the 4 star rating.
  • Nice looking but weird on your feet

I really liked the look of these, but had trouble when I put them on. They are wide at the top - not a real problem for me as I tend to have a wide foot - but the heel was smaller. Not narrow exactly, but it rubbed against the achilles tendon on one of my feet. I had to return them, alas.
  • love these shoes

We are planning a trip to Scotland where it is very wet so I needed a pair of waterproof walking shoes. I wanted something light and not real structured since I would be wearing these all day, everyday. These shoes are perfect. My first wearing was to a festival, walking on concrete for 6 hours. I haven't tested the waterproofing yet. I followed the suggestion that they run a little small so I ordered a 1/2 size larger than normal. The instep is in the correct place, the heel doesn't slip and even though they are Gore-Tex, my feet didn't get hot walking inside a heated building. I rate them more as a walking shoe than a hiking shoe but they would be fine for light trails. I am very pleased with these shoes.

  • “I read that there were some troubles with the sizes. What size do you recommend if my feet are 25cm long?”

    • What ever size you normally wear go up one size. For example I wear a 9 US shoe which is a 40 in EU size so I went up to 41 and they fit perfect. The hiking shoe sizing are different from dress shoes. I wear the 40 in all other shoes styles. Hope that help answer your question.

    • All the sizes are in Euro sizing just go up a size. Tap on the small boxes with the sizes and it will show you what size it is, for example I wear a size 9 US size and in this hiking shoe a 41 Euro is a 9.

About Zamberlan

This brand’s tradition of manufacturing top-quality hiking boots actually dates back more than 85 years, when Giuseppe Zamberlan founded the company in Italy, (and it remains a family-owned business today). The history of Zamberlan boots and Vibram® outsoles are also intertwined. When Giuseppe Zamberlan and Vitali Bramani jointly developed the now-famous Vibram® all-terrain outsoles, Zamberlan hiking boots were among the first in the world to feature them. Today, Vibram® soles are standard on every pair of Zamberlan hiking boots. Other technology you’ll frequently find includes Gore-Tex® waterproof breathable inserts, Flex-STM technology for outstanding lateral support, Z-Tec anatomic lasts and many more. If you demand the absolute best, consider choosing a pair of hiking boots or mountaineering boots from Zamberlan. You won’t be disappointed.
