These are my second pair of Zamberlin hiking shoes. The first pair I walked over 700 kilometers from France to Santiago Spain over the mountains. The best shoe ever. Kept my feet dry and comfortable. Great sole for traction and kept feet warm yet Kevlar uppers were very breathable. Recommend ... Read More

I wear 7.5 regular shoes, 8 in running shoes, size 37 Birkenstocks, and 38 in Doc Martens and a Swedish brand (I can't remember the name). For the Zamberlans, I ordered a 38 thinking they would be plenty roomy for hiking, however, when they arrived, the box and tag say 6.5 US/38 EU. This is way, way off so I will be returning them. I gave 2 stars because they look awesome and I love the color, but I am seriously disappointed that they are so small.

This shoe is high quality! I ordered three different pairs and brands and ended up keeping this pair. That being said there are two things to note. 1. The shoe is a little stiff. I am hoping that I can break them in. 2. The European sizing is way off. Normally I am a 38 but these were way too small. The 39 ended up fitting perfectly. (I usually wear a 7 1/2.) I ended up buying three different sizes to find the perfect fit. It was a pain, but worth the hassle.
Quality is excellent and the price is amazing!

This is my second pair of Zamberlan light hiking shoes. First pair I bought what was advertised as a US size 9 and they are loose - I need a heavy pair of hiking socks for them to fit right, I've had them for a few years and they've been great. This time I got an 8 1/2 and the fit is better for lighter socks & summer hikes. Most other manufactures have US9 = EU40 while Zamberlan has US9 = EU41. Shop wisely, these are great shoes but the sizes are off.

These seem great but were just to big.

  • “I wear size 9.5 us size. What size would I order?”
Asked by Rubyannmtz from Texas on 4/24/2018 2:54:55 PM
    • I usually wear a 6.5 and I ordered a 6.5. They fit perfectly. My foot is on the wider side and these are great shoes.

    • Really hard to say. If you click on the European size it should show you the US size equivalent. I usually wear a 7 1/2 and the US size 7 fit me. So I would go 1/2 size smaller. Please keep in mind that I have a narrow foot.

    • If you hover your mouse over or click on the sizes, the corresponding numeric size will be displayed in U.S. sizes.

    • These do have some arch support, but probably not ideal for a high arch.

    • Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, some sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered. We suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. About Zamberlan

This brand’s tradition of manufacturing top-quality hiking boots actually dates back more than 85 years, when Giuseppe Zamberlan founded the company in Italy, (and it remains a family-owned business today). The history of Zamberlan boots and Vibram® outsoles are also intertwined. When Giuseppe Zamberlan and Vitali Bramani jointly developed the now-famous Vibram® all-terrain outsoles, Zamberlan hiking boots were among the first in the world to feature them. Today, Vibram® soles are standard on every pair of Zamberlan hiking boots. Other technology you’ll frequently find includes Gore-Tex® waterproof breathable inserts, Flex-STM technology for outstanding lateral support, Z-Tec anatomic lasts and many more. If you demand the absolute best, consider choosing a pair of hiking boots or mountaineering boots from Zamberlan. You won’t be disappointed.
