I have worn Teva's for many years and thought I would try these for a change. They are much heavier than Teva's and I do find these sandals a little more difficult to put on as there are less adjusting straps. These Chaco's have one strap and you sort of pull the web over your foot until it is comfortable. Nothing for the heel. That is a fixed position. My Teva's have 3 Velcro adjusting straps, one for the heel, one for the top of foot and one for the toe area.
