Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by just tri from Virginia on Sunday, June 12, 2016These shorts had SO MUCH potential. Unfortunately, the padding is attached to the short with a thick, bulky seam. This chaffed my upper inner thighs right at the inseam area. Then that seam started to unravel. I even changed saddles thinking it was just the bike. No luck (although I did get a better saddle out of the experience). The fabric is lightweight and super comfy. Even the side pockets are excellent (just big enough to hold my iphone 6)! so disappointed in how Zoot would manufacture a tri short with such a terrible seam against the most sensitive skin.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by SRS from Georgia on Friday, April 22, 2016Way too small - had to return them.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ashlee from New Orleans on Wednesday, April 20, 2016The legs stayed in place and the waistband was comfortable. It dried quickly, as well
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Dana from Maine on Wednesday, February 10, 2016I'm doing my first triathlon this year and these are my first tri shorts. Overall they seem very nicely made and comfortable. They have a very snug fit. I'm usually a 2 or 4 in pants and a small in bike shorts. The small fits but is very snug. Despit being snug, I really like the fit on the legs. I don't have skinny thighs and usually have trouble finding bike shorts that fit without cutting into my thighs but these have a nice wide cuff which is snug but very comfortable.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Runner Girl from Tennessee on Thursday, June 18, 2015I bought these for my first tri and love them. They aren't super compressive, just enough to stay in place. Also, they look flattering on which is a plus. I like the longer length and the drawstring.

I'm not sure if there's a particular term for it other than, as the description says, a "built-in chamois". I can only tell you that the chamois in these, a tri-shorts, is going to be a bit thinner than regular bike shorts. Hope that helps.
