Verified Buyer Reviewed by STP Fan for many years! from Chicago, IL on Wednesday, May 7, 2014I purchased these to help my daughter's knee recover from surgery (compression to reduce swelling). They work as well as the medical grade products and the footless design is comfortable. (Plus the black is more acceptable to my teen than the medical tights in "flesh tones"). I had ordered a pair for myself too (for cycling/recovery) - they were too small so exchanged for a larger size for my husband (who decided he needed a pair too). He loves them.
The size chart is accurate - but they are compression, so order the correct size as they are very snug (compression!).
Reviewed by joe the biker from boulder,co on Thursday, July 26, 2012The form of a leg warmer is perfect as I have one bad knee I like to compress at night. I've tried this every night for a week now and can't make it work. I like the engineered fabric, including a pocket for the knee, but a couple of design flaws makes this a no go.
One is there is no gripper at the top so the warmer inevitably slips down or rolls down going so far as to fall off the knee.
On the bottom the problem is the zipper - great idea to aid getting on but no matter what I do i digs into the skin.
Finally the seams are pretty thick for compression gear.
The full tights are better but I've settle on the killa kompression line for myself
- Cons: Bad design, Tough to Install

Reviewed by Willy Wonka from Boston, MA on Saturday, June 30, 2012I tend to find leg warmers to be a useless product. If it's warm enough for less than tights, I wear knickers or knee warmers. If I need my legs fully covered, I wear tights. I'm not sure why I'd want tights that can become full shorts mid-ride.
I got these for my girlfriend to use as full-leg compression off the bike. She wears a size 2 Zoot compression sock, and we assumed sizing was the same. She's 110 lbs; these fit me at 6'2", 175 lbs.
ATMO, the design and fit don't really make it best for actual cycling. While the ankle is zipped, there is no grippy material at the tops to keep them up. As with these, sizing is always an issue on compression garments.
The articulation is nice on them and the compression is decent, but not as good as 2XU full leggings I have. They are slightly heavier than the 2XU, but I wouldn't call them thermal.
- Best Uses: At home compression, Maybe rides
- Cons: Odd product
