Provides a lot of compression and looks good. I'm 6-ft, 165 lbs and I was able to squeeze into the 2 which was on sale. Size 3 wasn't available. The price at STP was 60-70% off full suggested retail. Some "compression" wear is merely slim or tight fitting. This Zoot really compresses.

I had recently ordered the Size 3 Top, and it was felt like it was larger than what its label says; there was simply no compression while the arm length is alright.

I've worn this Ultra CompressRx top twice now for my long runs (18.5 last weekend and 16 this weekend). I was not sure at first because it did feel snug. However, the pre-dawn chill in the air coupled with morning fog seemed to seal my positive opinion about this top. I thought it may be too warm however, it does dissipate body heat and at the same time, keeps me warm enough (even with heavy sweating) when there's a slight breeze. The temps are high 50's to mid 60's by the end of my workout. I do not seem to have any lactic acid build up and it does seems to help with my shoulders, particularly with what I call this 'stinger knot" in my left scapula area. Important to note that even though all of my workout clothes are soaked (post workout), this top still feels relatively light weight.

I am going to wear it for my marathon coming up on 11/9, I figure if it gets too hot, I'll shed it and just wear my outer tank.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the neckline is a little bit funky and I did not feel anything on my first run but it chafed a spot about the 7 o'clock position (looking at the display picture above). I fixed that this weekend by applying some glide to my neckline area.

At the sales price, I would recommend this shirt for at least cooler weather training. It looks nice too.

Hard to determine sizing for women. It would be better if there was a shirt for women. It does compress!
