A little bit hard to pull on, even with the tab. I have to use a shoe horn.
But overall I like them and they're comfortable enough to wear for hours, including walking.

One I could hike in, eat out, and slip on and off easily for airports. I think this one does it! Great traction, easy on and off, and looks nice. Fits true to size. I wear 8 1/2 or 9, got the 9 and have plenty of room. Only my feet are a bit sore when I take them off. But they're keepers!

However, I decided to wear them downtown where I walked several miles and they were very comfortable. They are a nice alternative to sneakers.

Top quality, but . . . too short. My size is a woman's 8. A month earlier, I'd ordered size 8 in a different shoe from STP and they fit fine. This time, too short, so I did an exchange. Size 8.5 arrived - still too short! So - I returned them and gave up trying. Will apply the credit toward something else. Frustrating to have to spend the extra $ on postage. Rating = 4 only because of the size issue. Other than that, these are well made, attractive shoes!

These fit the bill and I now have all 3 colors: gray, brown and mauve. The colors are muted and tasteful, very versatile. I have wide feet and high arches, wear between 8 1/2 W to 9 W. Hi-Tecs usually fit me with their nice roomy toe box and in this shoe the 9 fits fine. They are a bit snug when brand new but as others note, feet sink into the quality footbed after a couple hours, and I can now wear them with nice cushy socks as I intended. Excellent arch support, stable heel--feels almost like a light hiking shoe but light weight and so comfortable!. I have worn these all day with feet happy to the end. Casual enough for everyday but handsome enough for an evening out. The suede is nice quality, seems fairly moisture resistant, but I'm not wading across the creek in these. Soles get squeaky when wet but I'll forgive them--they aren't pretending to be rain boots! REALLY LOVE THESE SHOES!
