5.0 out of 5 stars. Very Light

This boot is incredibly light and versitile. I am skiing it with a Vokl bridge ski and dynafit TLT bindings. So far I have skied it one day at the resort and one day in the backcountry, and it was perfect for both. The fit feels somewhat narrow, but this may be resolvable for the user based on how you mold the thermomoldable liner. I would not recommend risking the oven method. Have someone help you at a store to do it right. The 24 is bigger than a comparable Garmont 24. My usual shoe size is a women's 8 or 8.5, and I wear a 24. If I were the type who likes my boots really tight, I might have even gotten a 23.5 in this boot. This is an unbeatable sale price for a dynafit compatible boot.

I bought these boots at the sierra outpost store, and tried on pretty much every size. I have worn boots that were too big on me for my entire 20 year ski career, so I was not really good at boot sizing. DEFINITELY read the post about sizing ("It should feel too small. Toes hitting the front of the booties. Take bootie out. Measure foot in plastic shell. One finger width of space behind heel: that's a good fit"). I did not follow these instructions, and after hiking for an hour, and skiing one run, I found out that they are too big on me. Unfortunately the store didn't have the size I needed, so I went up a half size. I also have a very narrow foot: Not sure if these would have been low-volume enough for me.

It should feel too small. Toes hitting the front of the booties. Take bootie out. Measure foot in plastic shell. One finger width of space behind heel: that's a good fit. Lightweight, DYNAFIT binding compatible. Use a boot fitter for proper sizing before purchase. Have them MOLDED to your feet by boot fitter. Enjoy the ease of skinning up, faster than you can imagine, if combined with lightweight skis and DYNAFIT bindings.

Liners need to be molded because boots are tight out of the box. (they are meant to be molded, but some liners are immediately comfortable. Not these)
