5.0 out of 5 stars. Quality I expect from HHVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Tennessee on Wednesday, October 26, 2016As stated, these bottoms are made of quality material and excellent workmanship. I am a 10P/MP (only 5'2"), so they run long, but that's to be expected. HH and SmartWool are two high-end brands that I always look for when shopping for outdoor clothing and you can't beat the prices on STP. I purchased these as a base layer under insulated snow pants and expect them to provide the warmth that I need because of the wool material and close fit. I purchased a large and they are a bit long and big, but not so much so that I want to pay the shipping to return them. I'll make it work!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Wearing them right now - cozy!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Arkansas on Monday, January 18, 2016Merino wool just works for me as a baselayer. I started adding Merino baselayer items to my wardrobe after hearing a presentation by an experienced guide. Love it, love it, love it. Over the years, I've tried silk, polypropylene, and other fabrics. Merino holds in the warmth without making me sweaty. I get cold in the winter sitting at my desk, and these are just perfect for wearing under my pants. They aren't as thin as silk or other long underwear, so be aware you'll want roomy pants to put them under.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfy and good fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Sunshine from Northern Virginia on Wednesday, January 13, 2016These bottoms are very comfortable and keep me warm and seem good in their predicted performance of moisture-wicking, but I could use a little more warmth...and that's just me being cold so easily....maybe need to double up (:
I'm 5'1" and 115lb and small fits perfectly, but the legs a little too long for my short legs....no problem though. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice fabric; felt comfy and cozyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Pacific Northwest on Tuesday, January 12, 2016but unfortunately, I would probably need a petite size for overall length to have these fit me better (I am 5'3"). I returned them because of this.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice base layerVerified Buyer Reviewed by JH from AZ on Wednesday, January 6, 2016Bought these to replace another pair of long johns. First pair of wool ones, and these do not disappoint. Warm and comfy! Perhaps not quite as soft as expected based on a few other reviews, but they do live up to their itch-free claim. These do run slightly small in the waist, but are long in the legs for me, so I get a little bunching around my ankles (I'm 5'3").

3.0 out of 5 stars. Run smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Florida on Tuesday, January 5, 2016These run small - I had to return them. Otherwise they looked nice. I usually buy pure merino wool so was surprised that had a mesh lining. Maybe that's a good thing, but different than I expected.
