Somehow, these shorts managed to be way too small, though all three were listed as a 34" waist. Additionally, the inseam was VERY short. I'm sure that it was probably consistent with the length that they provided in the product details, but the shorts don't hit anywhere near where they show on the model in the picture. The picture shows them hitting just above the knee, while they actually ended up hitting me at the mid- to upper-thigh. I returned them right away (though I was pretty displeased that I had to forfeit $6 of my refund to return a product with a ridiculous fit). These shorts might be okay if you're 5'6" and buy one size up. Otherwise, don't bother.

I got size 34, which is the same as another pair I have from this company. These were more like a 30. I'm sure they're great. They look and feel like quality shorts. Maybe a good idea to try them on in a store before ordering.

Fit: Had to move the button over ( grommet...I removed it and put a button slightly over). So, they are 1/2 size small for my husband who is a true 32
