I've had good luck with Santana boots in the past and after the winter that Boston has had I decided that I needed more. As with my other pairs, I went a size or two up (usually a 7 or 7.5, and I got these in a 39). The fit is fine... almost snug, but roomy enough for thick warm socks. The zippers feel a little flimsy so I am careful with them. The wedge heel makes them more fashionable than a typical snow boot, but I won't be using these for trekking through deep snow or shoveling.

I wear a 10 but the 11 is what I ended up with after sending the 1st pair back. I have never bought an 11 in my life but needed it in this boot. Even the 11 is a bit snug but I'm keeping and hoping they stretch a bit.

I will exchange for a size higher up. I hope they aren't too big. I will put inserts in them, so that should help! They aren't tall either. They go up to my mid-calf. The zipper is ify too. It got stuck the first time I tried them on. I am willing to risk it though as there aren't a lot of nice looking boots to choose from! And a zipper makes them easier to slip on and off.

Customer Service has also been great to work with. Their 6 month return policy is unreal! These boots in particular are very good looking boots. I'm very happy with my choice. They are really fashionable worn over a legging or skinny jean, but can also be worn under a boot cut leg. Because of the cuff, they are a bit too bulky under a straight leg. I do caution you that they ran small for me though. I normally wear 8.5 or a 9 and I ordered a 9 in these, but they are pretty tight on me and I will be exchanging them for one size larger.
