3.0 out of 5 stars. Average Sock with a Great Foot BedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rol from Graham, WA on Tuesday, March 3, 2015Up to this time I have felt that Bridgedale made only quality socks for hiking, but for me these lack the sort of complete quality I have experienced before. The sole or as I called it foot bed is excellent, but above the ankle the rest of the sock is not great. I don't prefer socks that have a lot of stretch in them. These below the calf socks become to easy to pull out of shape, unlike earlier Bridgedale socks that I have purchased at STP.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Better quality in the pastVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mary in Philly from Pennsylvania on Wednesday, January 21, 2015This pair of Bridgedale socks did not meet the quality standards of the other pairs that I have purchased. While the foot padding is acceptable, the ribbing at the top of the socks is really thin—as if it should have been knit with double the yarn weight.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Thick on bottom, thinner on legVerified Buyer Reviewed by outtheresomewhere from Idaho on Friday, June 15, 2012Cushiony underfoot with little bulk around legs--has been comfortable in both light hiking boots and backpacking boots. Seems like good warmer weather backpacking sock.
