4.0 out of 5 stars. Common SlippersVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ren & Stimpy Ankle Guy from Puget Sound on Thursday, May 11, 2017Seems a well made lightweight water sock; the sole is a bit heavier and feels less likely to delaminate or wear through. Higher cuff and elastic cinch makes it feel like it will stay on better than many. The tail blobs on thegr ankle cinch were big and floppy and were tapping on the ground tickity tackity clappity "there's no place like home" everywhere I went and I thought they might catch on boat hardware so I cut them short and tied a knot.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Completely wrong sizingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mia from Oregon on Saturday, April 15, 2017I wear size 36-37 shoes (European), so ordered that size, they were too large. Exchanged them for 34-35, which would definitely be too small for my feet normally. Received the 34-35, they were still almost an inch too long for my feet! Had to send the second pair back too! Beware that these shoes are several sizes bigger than indicated.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great with fins but run largeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from San Francisco on Sunday, September 6, 2015We use these as fin socks to prevent toe-rub blisters. The strap notch on the heel works great, and the cinch cord keeps everything in place well. They are lightweight for summer diving, and they have a sole suitable for dock-walking but far too thin for a rocky beach like those on Puget Sound; I added arch support inner-soles for some needed cushion. We didn't need to increase fin size to accommodate these, as they are mostly mesh in the uppers. I did, however, take the advice of previous reviewers and size down because the site info wasn't accurate. We've been using ours for three summers, and they have held up very well. Saltwater rinses out easily after you're finished for the day. At this price I was able to outfit everyone on the boat.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Fine product so farVerified Buyer Reviewed by upstate and outdoors from Clintion NY on Monday, April 20, 2015I just finished a kiteboarding session on Pamlico Sound in OBX. While the bottom is primarily sand, it is advisable to use foot protection due to shells, etc. The Aqua Slippers fit to size, are comfortable and the soles appear sturdy. They easily slipped in and out of the kiteboard footstraps, an important feature in the sport. They are not cold water shoes, however, as the mesh allows water in (and, importantly, out). I also purchased the Camaro Titanium neoprene socks (to fit under a wetsuit) and they fit nicely with the Aqua Socks.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Kayaking slipperVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from L.A., Calif. on Saturday, March 21, 2015These are nice for summer paddling. In fact, our winters are not that cold so she will probably use these year round.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Functional but HUGEVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Washington state on Wednesday, December 31, 2014Like these water booties for extra coverage when entering water for kayaking, but the sizing is really off from regular EURO sizes with shoes. I'm typically a 37 or 38 in shoes, and the 38 had inches of extra fabric. I exchanged for the 36/37 size, and even that was too big. Go smaller.

1.0 out of 5 stars. CautionVerified Buyer Reviewed by KRob from Park City on Sunday, November 30, 2014Fell apart the first time out...the stitching did not hold up. Too bad because I was in Mexico without a chance to replace a pair of water shoes. Not a very good quality shoe. The ties also bounce around and have to be tucked in.

5.0 out of 5 stars. good for my intended useVerified Buyer Reviewed by CP from SF Bay on Friday, November 14, 2014I bought these intending to use them with stocking foot waterproof pants on a surfski. There is enough material to protect feet and socks from poking and punctures, but flexible enough to feel the surfski pedals. Mesh uppers will not provide any insulation.
