1.0 out of 5 stars. Not comforatbleReviewed by Anonymous from Massachusetts on Tuesday, December 3, 2013Hard backing makes it hard to move, and also hurts the back of the heel and ankle. These boots are going to be returned

1.0 out of 5 stars. Runs large, sloppy on footReviewed by mamapops from Minneapolis, MN on Friday, November 23, 2012Size 7 felt more like a size 8. with thick wool socks some of the room was taken up inside the foot area, but it still flopped around on my foot. The back of the boot at the top of the heel and behind your ankle really rubbed on my foot/ankle, I could easily see blisters forming there from the way that the boot rubbed. it also bent at the ankle awkwardly digging into the back of the ankle, this was more noticeable in one leg than the other. I returned the boots. The flap at the top also was quite awkward. nothing to hold it in so it just kind of flapped there. the straps did nothing to hold it in place and did little to adjust the tightness of the boot. Had high hopes, but did not see these being a winner in a Minnesota winter.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable, but not very well designed.Reviewed by Pattira from Johnstown, CO on Wednesday, November 14, 2012These are the second pair of snow boots I've had from Columbia, and both have a flaw design. This one, flaps don't stay up at all; they are half way hanging down after wearing them for less than an hour, which I can't wear long pants with them now because of that. I assume I got the defective ones. The elastic laces also don't hold up either; the actual pair looks nothing like in the picture what so ever. I can't really wear them anywhere now, but for a quick walk to the mail box, because I've done that and it's embarrassing the fact that the flaps are hanging down at all time—they look very inappropriate. I can't return them because I ordered them in June and just started to wear them in October, and that's when they showed defectiveness. Width wise fits fine, but I don't think I can rely on this pair when it's snowing hard or really cold outside since the flaps are not holding up and the elastic laces are not holding in tight, the cold wind is going right inside the boots. Very disappointed. I love Columbia jackets (one of the best out there), but I don't think I'll buy any more of Columbia boots again. I just don't have any luck with them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Cute BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Alki Beach Girl from Seattle, WA on Monday, April 30, 2012These boots are really nice looking but they run big and by that I mean if you take a half size, order the smaller size, I wear a 9.5 and ordered a size 9 and I have room for my thickest wool socks which you will need with these boots. They don't have a lot of insulation to keep your feet warm but I love them when worn with thick wool socks. They are not bulky looking either so if you like the looks, they are cute boots.

- Cons: They run big
- Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational

4.0 out of 5 stars. Cute but run largeReviewed by txtransplant from Minneapolis, MN on Thursday, February 2, 2012The boots are quite comfortable. I can't tell how warm they'll be especially since we haven't had any real cold weather yet. The upper furred tongue piece, however, is more decorative than functional. This makes it easy to tuck pants into the boots, but keep in mind that it's not possible to tighten the boots all the way to the top. Also, I can't figure out why the specs suggest half sizes to order up--these boots run big! I am a solid 8.5-9 with wide-ish feet; I returned the 9 for an 8, and the 8 is even big on me.
- Best Uses: Around town, Mild cold weather
- Cons: Not super warm, Run large
- Pros: Comfortable, Cute
