Columbia Sportswear Talls are 1.2 inches longer in the sleeves and 2 inches longer in the body of a short parka and 3 inches longer the body of a long parka than regular sized garments. Tall sizing for pants is 2.25 inches longer for inseam measurements and 3 inches longer for out seam measurements than regular sized garments.

They would be great for hiking/watersports gear of course, but are available in extended sizes and are a good alternative to swimming trunks.

The inner brief is comfortable and the outer material dries quickly. The included belt is sewn into the waist on the buckle side so it will not shift around while being worn; it won't come out in the wash or get lost. The front pockets are deep preventing anything from sliding out while sitting. There is a zippered cargo pocket with drain holes for important items.
I mostly wear mine when riding ATVs on the trail/creeks/mud. -

We ordered the usual size but they were too small. Returning was a breeze though and we got a replacement, one size larger, with no trouble at all. These are very comfortable with the right amount of coverage and room to move around. love the extra UV protection.
