I had bought a cheaper pair for my 5 year old, but halfway through the winter they started to fall apart. No worries of that here! The bottoms are perfectly waterproof, and I love that the top has an elastic drawstring that can be tightened against whatever pants she has on. They are easy on/off, and not too heavy. My kid can trudge around in the yard for hours without her legs getting too tired. These are fabulous boots. I plan to order similar for my other kids next time they need boots.

Tons of walking between all of the venues in lots of snow and rain but she never complained! -at least not about the boots :) Sizing was terrific and they kept her feet warm and dry.

The description says it's 'for youth' but it's more 'for girls' but I decided to keep it. To be fair, it's 5 stars for girls and 2 stars for boys.

They seem like they will stay on well, (which is important because my daughter has extremely narrow feet most shoes the Velcro doesn't go far enough and crocs and flip flops are out of the question) even though the Velcro (as usual) doesn't go far enough for a snug fit.
