5.0 out of 5 stars. Good Quality, Good ServiceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Western NC on Thursday, November 5, 2015Sierra Trading Post offered a great selection of the type of jacket that I wanted. I chose this one because of the 800 Fill Power and because Columbia is a brand I trust for outdoor wear.
Fortunately, I haven't need this cold weather gear yet, but I have tried it on and it fits well. The construction of the garment is sturdy, no loose threads, no crooked seams, etc., so I am confident that it will serve my needs well.
Sierra Trading Post was easy to work with and the jacket arrived promptly. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. great jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Frozen in Minnesota from Minnesota on Saturday, November 22, 2014Great quality jacket at a great price. Does a good job of keeping me warm except when the wind is really blowing. Could have used some better wrist bands but it's not a game changer.

5.0 out of 5 stars. WarmVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Louisiana on Wednesday, November 19, 2014Light warm and packs small. Surprised when this lightweight jacket kept me warm even into single digit temps. Midweight base layer under my normal hiking clothes with this jacket, fleece gloves and beanie were all I needed for day hikes in northern NM.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Lightweight Mid-layerVerified Buyer Reviewed by BMW from Columbus Ohio on Thursday, April 10, 2014Great as a mid-layer for skiing and as a packable for hiking under a protective shell for those cold mornings and evenings and packing it between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Given the nylon on all these "packable" down jackets feels paper thin to me and not durable I wouldn't recommend buying this as an exterior down jacket. It's not heavy duty enough to resist minor branch scraps and tears. I've yet to try on a "packable down vest" that looks like it's nylon has any rip/tear resistance so I can only give them a 4 star. Just didn't want anyone to think Columbia Powerfly looks any less durable than other "packable" brands I've tried on.
