Fit is active and true to size. No underwear needed. Nice for backpacking or hiking. Dries quick. Breathable! Good for Summer or Fall. I bought the XL zero shorts which can be worn separately, or can be worn over XL Terramar GEO Fleece Long Underwear Bottoms if things cool down. Nice combinations if need be. Enjoy!
