It was just a tad shorter than other shoes, but it was more the width that made me give it away. If you have narrow feet, esp the forefoot, this is a really good shoe. You can feel the quality in it. Good soles, good support.

But try as I might they are not comfortable. I don't get it. I tried with the original insoles with different socks. Then I tried different insoles attempting to find the formula that would let me walk 8 miles and feel good. Unfortunately I never found the formula and they are collecting dust in the bottom of my closet.

The final decision I come to is that these are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They fit perfectly by using the Sierra sizing guide for them. I even used them in place of my golf shoes this last Friday and after eighteen holes I think I will be retiring the golf shoes. A-1 purchase from a great company. Thanks.
