These are smooth leather, very comfy and perfect for work. However be careful with the sizing. I wear a standard size 9/ 40M. The shoes I got sent were mismatched with the box; box said 39 and the shoes inside were 38. They did fit me with room to spare. I can wear them with thick socks and still have room left. You may have to go a size down, if not two sizes down, to get the right fit.
