4.0 out of 5 stars. comfortable but too bigVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Oklahoma on Thursday, September 24, 2015i also bought size 42 M, but seemed a size 1/2 size to 1 size too big. They feel super comfortable though. Lots room in the toe box despite not being a wide size. Returned due to size.

5.0 out of 5 stars. The boots are great but size of the boots are missed mark...Reviewed by Andy the Mountaineer... from Duvall, WA. on Thursday, September 10, 2015I have owned ECCO's in the past and jump on the opportunity to buy them at these rock bottom prices from STP...
They are marked 42 on the boot as well as the box, the box said "size 42 / 8-8.5"... A size 41 is 8.5... I tried them on and I could put my whole hand behind my heel in the boot so I would boot the boot size 9.5 or 10.0...
Once again ECCO's are the most comfortable boots I have worn to date so anyone reading this might want to jump on them... -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Ecco rocks it againVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Los Angeles on Saturday, June 27, 2015These boots are great for walking on dirt and paved road. Work in the movie industry and I am always moving around. AWESOME

4.0 out of 5 stars. Love the fit.Verified Buyer Reviewed by RMc from Western PA on Monday, May 25, 2015They fit and felt great right out of the box. The heel cup and ankle support give stability to the rear foot without overly restricting movement. The instep gives a firm hold through the midfoot with no hot spots (so far) and keeps my feet from sliding forward when going downhill. The toebox has lots of room for my toes. I don't expect any issues there. The forefoot has a nice flex that I like, especially on quick day hikes. The only reason I haven't given them five stars is that I haven't had them long enough to see how long they stay waterproof. (Spring hiking in the northeast is usually wet.)

4.0 out of 5 stars. comfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jen from Bay Area on Monday, May 18, 2015I ordered for my husband 1/2 size bigger. He hiked several times already and had no complain. It needs no break in, so comfortable out of the box.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Hiking ShoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from doorstep of heaven on Tuesday, March 10, 2015I will be hiking the colorado rockies in a May and wanted new boots. I am really pleased w/these boots although they are not trail tested yet. Fit well and look well. Fairly light and comfortable. Price at Sierra was great for this quality. I would recommend.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Running shoe level supportReviewed by HikeTeach from missouri on Sunday, February 22, 2015I expected more from Ecco. This really feels like a high-top running shoe and if you buy it with that in mind you will be happy. I was looking for a more support and protection. The top lace hooks are very tight fit and difficult to lace up. They also have a very flat arch and very wide heel box. Overall I am disappointed for an Ecco product...
