They work well for my husband wh works on boats and gets really dirty. Wash & wear is the way to go. I slowly weed out the really damaged ones and try to replace them twice a year when Sierra has a good sale on them, A real bargain.

Every Hanes tee I've purchased in the last year, whether from here or directly from Hanes, has been of terrible quality. They're cut bizarrely, with shoulder seams that come almost halfway down my upper arm. They're advertised as being for men and women, and not even an Olympic female swimmer has shoulders like that. The arm holes are enormous. Coupled with a very narrow waist section, there's all this extra material bagging around above, and not hanging nicely at the bottom. Hanes tees used to be cut well, with neck bands that laid flat and didn't wrinkle or pucker, and the material was soft and smooth. These have all been thin, scratchy, and pucker at seams and necklines. They all went to Salvation Army and so is this one.
