This beautiful camel hair coat was at a such a good price that I hesitated to buy it. It is gorgeous! I am 5'3", 160 pounds. I bought a 14 R. It fits perfectly. This coat definitely runs on the slimmer side at the hips--so if you are curvy, I would suggest sizing up. The description said it was extra long....but I think it is perfect. It is below the knee, at approx. mid-calf. It doesn't look "dowdy long". The fabric is lovely and it is lightweight. I know I will have and wear this coat for many years to come. So glad I purchased!

I got this on a coupon and it was a terrific buy. The coat is sized appropriately for today's slimmer standard. It used to be that you could fit another coat under coats so you had to buy a size down. Not with this. I can fit a very heavy sweater under it, but nothing more, for me, at the hips (size 8, hips 38") if I don't want the buttons to strain when I sit. The sleeves are not baggy, but they are wide-enough to get that sweater's arms in easily. There is the usual slit up the back. I wish there would have been an extra button at the top to snug it closed in the dead of winter, but one should wear a scarf with a camel hair coat anyway (to preserve it, not because it is itchy--it is very soft), so I will just wear a warm one when it gets cold. I'm so glad I found this. I will wear it for years.
