It might be better with brown shoes and belt than black. I get it back from the tailor today, so I can't comment on quality yet. I thought the pants were a bit thin in material but the tailor said they were fine. They aren't lined like some suits I've had so I won't be wearing them without a slip:) They needed to be taken out slightly which was a shocker because usually I'm a 34-35 and these slacks were supposedly 36. There's plenty of material though. My daughter warned me not to wear a striped shirt with this suit.
