I've walked all over the city and was amazed at how well they stood up to the NYC streets. I was also amazed at how tough the tread was, not much wear at all in the year I owned them. And then, out of nowhere, the sole completely cracked in two, just broke in half. Great shoes now trashed. What happened? Very disappointing.

4.0 out of 5 stars. great shoe...kindaReviewed by steve from chicago, illinois on Sunday, June 17, 2012got these shoes on a Tuesday. worked in a restaurant with them on wednesday and they weathered fine. took em out a boulder hoppin and mountain trekkin and i was pretty impressed at how well the shoe fit, felt, held up and performed until i took the shoe off turned it over and saw that a portion of the tread was entirely missing and most of it worn down quite a bit. Now maybe this was because i was out a boulder hoppin but i had hoped these shoes would hold up better than they did. so if you want these shoes to last stay away from jumping to and fro boulders.
