Loose and comfyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Austin on Wednesday, August 10, 2016These shorts are loose.. like they run a bit bigger and give you plenty of room to breathe in. They don't have inner shorts but seem to cover just fine. However, they don't seem to be super breathable to me so I'll choose selectively which times I'll wear them based on the weather and intensity of the workout. I like that it has pockets but they aren't great for holding onto things while you run or else it would just fall out but ok for holding keys or something during transitions.

I typically find that NB shorts are smaller than other athletic brands I wear, at least on my body, so I order a size larger, but these seemed true to size with the other running shorts I own (Hind, Asics, North Face etc).

They are stretchy and easy to move in, but not super skimpy. And best of all - they have pockets! (it's hard to find women's gym shorts with pockets.) I like them so much I'll probably buy a second pair.
Fit seems true to size. I wear size 6 pants and the small fits me well, perhaps a bit on the looser side.
