It is firm yet stretchy to get in and out of without much effort. Also it is light enough for reasonable drying after a good sweat (without inserts). I'd have given it 5 stars if the inserts remained in the bra during a wash cycle - I'm just not into removing them, hand washing, reinserting. They don't pop out every time but enough to be an annoyance. I like the bra very much without the inserts so I just keep the pads to the side for when I want the look/coverage of light padding. I'm 5 ft 7 in, 123 lbs and the small is super. I'm not particularly broad - 32/34 A in various manufacturer's street bras.
