I've got another pair of sheepskin slippers that are 5 years old and the wool is in much better shape than these new ones. Good sole and decent fit otherwise

These were for my DH and they were like a flat tire, and too narrow even though they were both listed as M. I hate returning things even when I get a free return( not here!), and especially when you know you can't rely on product to be the same. Good luck with this brand!

One slipper looked previously worn inside and out. (Yes, only one of them.) The advertised 'thick, plush sheepskin lining' was anything but. The lining across the top was a jagged mess, incorrectly sewn. The best part? They were ordered for a Christmas present with no time to exchange.

The foot liner insert is reasonable thick, like normal sheepskin. However, the sides and particularly the top are definitely not. The wool is quite short on the sides and extremely short on the top, and very sparse. I tried again to read the specs and even went the the Old Friend Footwear page, but I can't tell--Maybe the "Sheepskin Lining" is only the part under your foot, the actual foot liner? These are leather, not sheepskin slippers, but I had the idea that the whole thing would be lined with sheepskin. I don't think that is the case. They do look reasonably well made, though we haven't worn them yet.
