4.0 out of 5 stars. basic vest at low costVerified Buyer Reviewed by Steve ski from Colorado on Wednesday, January 27, 2016i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this low cost vest. the fill material is more dense/warm than I expected - to the point where this is not really a thin packable vest (i.e., it won't compress into a softball size pocket). I bought a Large and it is a perfect fit for my 6'1" 225lb body. The outside pockets are shallow, about 4" deep, and they do not zip or have any Velcro closures. The only inside pocket is cell phone size. A nice vest when you don't need any secure pockets.

The shoulders fit perfectly. The colors are pleasing; it is lightweight; and most of all, it is warm. Perfect indoors on a gloomy day and outdoors for a little comfort.

2 open pockets for hands but no zipper to ensure closure and inner pocket helps
one thing i didnt like was the waist has no cord so the vest will be open from the bottom allow air to flow up to body.... not good to keep warm air in the body
but overall, vest does good in layering your body with warmth and comfort.. neck collar is good to provide coverage but the waist has no cord to keep warm air in close to body
i got a small and it fit fine but with room for a sweater... bit roomy for small -

This piece was pretty big for a medium, definitely more large than medium. With no hem string adjustment it was just too big! For the price the value is high, just be aware of size.
