It's a good weight (not too heavy, not too thin). I'm glad I bought two jerseys, one in black/black and one in black/screaming yellow.
I'm 6'0", 225 lbs, with a 44-46 chest. I purchased these jerseys in size XXL. The fit was perfect, not too tight, not too loose.
The fit is more of a "club fit" which will be ideal for layering underneath but also appropriate for use as a mid-layer under a shell for extreme cold. -

The specified temperature range by Pearl Izumi is spot on, but can extended to lower temps with heavier base layers.
The fit is perfect, not too loose nor too tight. The height of the collar is great, almost like a turtle neck and keeps warmth in. If your neck feels cold wind, it can make you feel much colder than you would otherwise.
Even at full price, this jersey would be a great deal, but at the discounted price here on Sierra Trading Post, it was a steal! -

Will not stop wind, but as you ride and warm up this has a good balance of wicking, breathability and keeping you warm.
I bought the 2XL, I weight 245 and 6'2", fits perfect.
