5.0 out of 5 stars. REALLY nice socksVerified Buyer Reviewed by AnnaLaurie from Airzona on Thursday, May 22, 2014Those are so very comfortable. I've used them as hiking socks, but they are also so cute that I wear them with open sandals.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Nothing specialVerified Buyer Reviewed by Snowrunner in AK from Anchorage on Tuesday, November 20, 2012These socks were nothing to write home about. Please ignore my previous review about Icebreaker socks, made in error. I cant stand wool socks that are woven in such a way so that the insides are left all stringy, so that you can accidentally hook yarns and snag them just by putting the socks on. Or, they will grab your toes or whatever. I don't know what that style of weaving is called, but in socks it is not desirable to me. i want the insides to be smooth and tightly knitted, just like the outside. If that doesn't bother you, then these socks are adequate, but I didn't find them super flexible/stretchy and the pattern was less impressive in person. They didn't feel like a really nice wool blend either.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Socks for skinny anklesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Snowrunner in AK from Anchorage on Tuesday, November 20, 2012I would have kept these socks and wondered why I never wore them, but fortunately, I realized that my impulse to keep them was based on the good construction, soft fabric and soft, muted stripes, rather than focusing on the fact that they were trying to strangle my feet. I have found all of Icebreaker clothing to be slim fitting and this even applies to the socks, apparently. I wear size 11 in womens, and while the length was fine, they were just so tight everywhere and my legs would have felt like the circulation was being cut off in no time. Keep in mind that I do not have narrow, slender feet, or delicate ankles. So, if you do, these are very nice socks, seemingly comparable in quality or even superior to Smartwool, which is all I own.
