5.0 out of 5 stars. Seavees BoondockersReviewed by Anonymous from Oklahoma on Friday, February 7, 2014I bought these boots in brown and they are fantastic. They are quite light, due to the sole, but they seem to be made with solid construction. The leather was already quite supple so there has been no break-in period. They have a great looking profile and the burnishing on the suede looks nice without being overdone. I ordered these boots in my Brannock device size (9.5) and they fit fine. I think if I had to, I could wear a 9, but I wanted a bit of room in case I wanted to wear thicker socks. The only thing (not quite a flaw) is that while comfortable, the insole that the boots came with were too thick and mad the tongue and laces of the boot press uncomfortably against the top of my foot when laced and tied. This was fixed by purchasing a cheap thinner insole and now everything is fine. Additionally, STP customer service knocked it out of the park and this combined with the excellent product made me an extremely satisfied customer.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great bootsReviewed by Ed Arocha from Long Beach, Ca on Wednesday, October 30, 2013This is a great product. I actually bought these to enhance my WW2 USMC reproduction uniform. Although they are slightly off in color and the sole is different, they sure look [...] close. Your average Joe wouldn't know the difference. I had a pair of "real" authentic boondockers but they were too tight. The color being darker, actually gives them a more authentic look. As though they has been used. By the way sizing is right on. Order your true size and you will be okay. Very comfortable too. The sole seams a bit slippery but I'm sure once I've walked in them a bit it will roughen it up and provide better traction. Also, you can't beat the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars. light and comfortableReviewed by rsgobo from yardley, pa on Sunday, August 11, 2013I ordered my regular size, they do feel a tad long but perfect in width. If I was trying these on in a store I would have tried a 1/2 size down but was on the fence as to order another to compare but decided not too as they don't feel drastically long. After the first full day of wear, they felt fine. The boot curls up in the front which can give them a sort of "clown shoe" look but I don't have a problem with that and are really light. I laced them up fully and felt no discomfort or pressure spots. One boot had more of the roughout leather look than the other. The toe cap area has black weathered color to them. No break in time needed, they are very comfortable.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Different but goodVerified Buyer Reviewed by IndyDude from Indianapolis, I on Monday, February 25, 2013These boots are different than expected, but pleasantly so. They are very light weight and very comfortable. They are definitely a fashion boot than a true workboot. I was disappointed to find that they are not lined, which may ultimately limit their lifespan, but this also contributes to their light weight.
