Always order a large and they always fit - size 9.5 mens shoe. Ordered a large in these and they were at least 3-4 inches too long... almost like STP sent me XXLs. Otherwise, very nice socks. Wish they fit!

These offer some cushion , but are not a thin sock, nor are they a hiking sock either. I can never find the reason why Smartwools are marked 2nds so I never let that stop me from purchasing 2nds.

It's a good mid-weight wool sock that I'll be wearing to work as often as out on a hike. I still sweat some in them but I've never found I sock I don't. The ribbed cuff looks nice and is comfortably snug but will still drift down over time. -
