I normally wear a 7-7.5 in sandals and the length of the 7.5 was very close to being too short. However, my feet are too thin for the straps and I slid right through so sizing up wouldn't have helped in my case. I always wear medium with (narrows are too tight) but my foot is more on the slender side. Sad to have to send them back, they'll be great for someone with slightly wider feet.
