5.0 out of 5 stars. light-weight & sneaker-comfy!
Reviewed by Mavorneen from Southern Kettle Moraine, WI on Thursday, December 15, 2016
I got these for my son, and soon my husband wanted a pair as well.
If both guys like 'em--one being 21 and the other 72--you might say
they have universal appeal. They seem to run a tad bit large. But the
guys are wearing them with wool socks in the winter and the socks
take up any slack. If you want to wear them without socks,
then perhaps buy a half-size smaller.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Just a tad too big

I didn't get a chance to really wear these as when I received them I slipped them on and they were about 1/2 size too big. They seemed well put together though.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfy, but big

Saw the reviews about shoe sizes running true, but they seem to be about .5-1 size longer. Overall though, very comfortable shoe. Stylish. I'd buy these again, but I'd go a size smaller than I normally wear.

    Bought 11.5. Could wear a 10.5

These shoes are comfortable and fit true to size. The canvas looks cool and breathes well. I've only worn these shoes inside so I don't know how they would hold up to the outdoor elements.

About Timberland

The Timberland footwear brand was officially launched in 1973, more than two decades after founder Nathan Swartz bought an interest in an established shoe company. Eight years earlier, the Swartz family had introduced injection-molding technology to the footwear industry. Today, this revolutionary manufacturing process is still being used to fuse the soles and uppers of Timberland boots without stitching, a process that allows for truly waterproof boots. Over the years, Timberland shoes and boots have continued to advance, incorporating modern features like Active Comfort Technology to provide a balance of cushioning, support and climate control. In 2008, Timberland also became the first footwear company to commercialize the use of rubber from recycled tires.
