I recently bought several hats because my old ones were in pretty sad shape. This one is just very slightly larger on my small head than the others, but not so much that it will fall off or slide down into my face or eyes. It keeps my ears and head warm. The blue is true to the picture. It is a nice, cute, warm hat for colder climates.

I have a relatively small head and some hats fall off me, but this one is fine, although it would also fit a larger head without problem as it has a fair amount of give. overall a very soft warm wonderful bargain from STP.
