This little, light weight therapy jacket is a great idea, and works very well. She's happy to have this on, it's not too restrictive, very adjustable with hook and eye sticky points, and she settles right in for her 'therapy'. Roughly 12 lbs, Bichon, small/petite to average structure. The small fits her nicely. The fabric is micro fleece, and is light enough to use for the therapy duration time without making her pant. I have not placed the warm pack s in the microwave, but use a moist heat with heavy towel saturated in not quite boiling water. 5 minutes inside the hot towel is enough heat to last 12 minutes once applied. I refrigerate the cold packs vs freezing.

Jacket is fine but the hot cold packs are terribleReviewed by Colorado gal from Colorado on Thursday, September 4, 2014The jacket is fine....but the first time I heated the hot/cold pack from room temp, straight out of the package it burst after 25 seconds of heating. It states to heat for 1 min. I didn't think it could take a full min. And I guess it can't take 25 seconds. I thought it may have been a fluke so I heated the 2nd and the same thing, lovely blue goo all over and plastic melt had to throw away the towel it was wrapped in too. It was added fun to clean up blue goo and melted plastic in the microwave......not what I planned on.....
Wish it worked, as it fits the small sleeve that attaches.to the jacket so our little girl could wear her warm therapy and feel better after getting shots and a rough day. She is 8 lbs and a very sore lil puppy. ...so we have a large heat pack and using a towel...waste of $$$...
And the jacket would be ok for what it's intended...but not a useful jacket for just a dog jacket. So it was a total loss!! Glad it didn't cost much since I had zero uses from this. -
