Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. Modest but attractive top, light fabric for humid summers with no see-through.

Bought size XL in all four colors (raisin, calypso, blue moon, breeze) and I usually wear a 12/14 top, a bit full in the chest, and am 5'6.5". A large probably would have worked out just fine but I wanted something loose.

-A little loose all over, which is what I was hoping for, without being baggy or frumpy

-Sleeves about 3" below elbows (I do not have exceptionally long arms but do have broad shoulders and that always affects the sleeve length on me)

-Fit perfectly through the shoulders (again, I have broad shoulders so if you have very narrow shoulders then this top may feel droopy)

-Hem hits just at hip on the side, little longer front/back.

-Was concerned about the sleeve cuffs being too tight per some reviews, but these were actually loose enough to comfortably roll up one turn.

-Crisp fabric that softened up a bit after washing

-Gathering at mid-to-lower back nips the waist in a bit without constricting

-The bit of 'ruffle' on placket is pretty without being at all frilly (I don't do frilly!)

-Gathering at yoke is minimal, not sure why they even mention it

-No see-through for the most part but a dark bra would be slightly perceptible under the breeze color

-Extremely happy with all colors, slightly subdued so if you like very bright/loud colors you may not be as pleased as I am

-Washed in cool water and tumbled dry on low/delicate (just my preference for most clothing although the instructions say line dry) with no apparent shrinkage. Also, dried in 10 minutes with just that tiny bit of heat/air. Line drying should also be fairly quick.

-Very happy with these tops and glad I purchased all the colors!

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
