5.0 out of 5 stars. Pretty and comfortable

I have always found Acorn slippers to be comfortable and warm, so I jumped at the chance to get these. They are as pretty as they look in the picture, well-made and sturdy, and the memory-foam footbed provides a great cushion. There's even a bit of a tread to the sole, in case you straggle out to pick up the paper on an icy morning. I wear a size 9-1/2 shoe, and the XL (9-1/2 to 10-1/2) fits me just perfectly. I think these would be OK for a size 10, though possibly a bit snug at first if you have toenail issues. I think that if you normally wear a size 10-1/2 these slippers are going to be a bit small. As the fleece lining smashes down a bit from wear, the slippers feel larger but right at the beginning they are more of a 9-1/2 size.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Warm and cozy

The four star rating related to the fact that these are pull-ons. Actually, they aren't difficult to put on, but you do have to tug a bit. I bought them for my daughter for Christmas. When I took them out of the box I thought, "oh dear, they are going to be too big". But I put them on my size 6 1/2 foot and they felt a bit snug. This is a good thing for me, since my daughter wears a size 6. So I guess they do run a tad short. Once on, they felt very comfy cozy. So, I hope she loves them - her feet are always cold.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Warm Slippers

The sizing I ordered was a 6.5 - 7.5. I normally wear a 7 wide or a 7.5. They are a little snug and were a little hard to put on since they go so high up the leg. I decided to keep them as they are super warm and nice quality. I like that they have a sole that allows me to pop outside without changing shoes too.

It is was the dead of summer when I got these, but have had the chance to wear them a couple of cool nights, I love them, comfy and very cute. I can see living in these this winter, and great fall camping footwear. Sole is firm, inside is cushy. I have a wide foot, ordered the 61/2-71/2 I wear a 6ish, fit great
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Best ever slipper

This is the warmest and most comfortable slipper I've ever worn. They're great looking too. Sorry I ordered only one pair!
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Found nicer and cheaper ones at Herbergers but already bought these.

Look exactly like picture when on. Run small. I am an 8 1/2 and ordered a large and they just fit. Super hard to get on your foot but very comfortable and warm once on. The fabric band has no give. I almost sent them back as I don't think putting on slippers should be a chore, but I think I will just cut the front slit deeper.

About Acorn

From humble beginnings handcrafting slipper socks to present-day factory production by skilled craftsmen, Acorn has always had one thing in mind: Comfort. Acorn slippers are so incredibly warm and comfortable that astronauts take them to space and Sherpas pack them along on expeditions in the most extreme of conditions. Acorn sheepskin shoes and boots are naturally breathable, wicking and great for warming chilly feet around the fire or after a surfing session. And while nowadays there are many different designs and innovative features, the constants are the lightweight, soft, and unbelievably cushioned interiors produced using only the finest materials. With this degree of comfort, it’s certainly no wonder Acorn customers are devoted and loyal -- nothing else compares.
