5.0 out of 5 stars. Pefect weight and style.....

Great value - especially for linen. Is a flattering length and I like the 3/4" sleeves and collar.
washed nicely as well. I do not dry linen in the dryer, just smooth the garment after removing
from the washing machine and hang on line.
I am "allergic" to ironing so this method keeps me from having to iron the linen - usually!

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. pretty; long; problems with wrinkles

Oh how I wish I could achieve the no-iron magic that other reviewers speak of. Ten seconds after I put on a linen garment, it's wrinkled to death; I always line dry clothes, but so far this hasn't eliminated the need to iron this shirt. I must not have the right technique or something.

That said, it's a lovely shirt; comfy, quite long - covering my bum - but a great summer top with jeans or capris.

This shirt just fit me weird. I am athletically built and curvy, it would probably work well on someone thin.

I got one in blue and came back for the white one. A very nice shape, love the 3/4 sleeve. It is light weight but not too sheer, I wear it over a cami if I am going someplace with Air Conditioning. It has washed well, I hang it to dry so it needs no ironing.

Runs large for this brand. Washes well without too much wrinkling. It could use a little ironing, but I will likely use plenty dyer sheets and wearing it as is. Very light, cool fabric for the summer. It is as pictured, very nice design. Would likely make a good beach cover.

About August Silk

It is no accident that August Silk is named thus... for it is their luxurious silk fabrics and knits which define the major portion of this company's infinitely feminine clothing line. August Silk is involved in every conceivable facet of its silk business in China, from growing cocoons to spinning yarns to designing fashions. It is said that silk was invented when an ancient Chinese empress dropped a cocoon into her tea and it unraveled into glorious silk threads subsequently sought after by royalty all over the world. Whether or not this legend is true, it is most certainly true that silk is one of the most luxurious and lustrous fibers in the textile industry and August Silk is among its most accomplished purveyors.
