Bison Designs Slider Web Belt - 38mm (For Men and Women)

For about the last 12 years, I've had a 30mm Bison Designs web belt that I wore almost every day. I work outside most days, and even when working indoors I dress casually, so the formality of any kind of dressy leather belt is irrelevant. I'm primarily interested in comfort and durability.
Anyway, my old belt finally wore out - every year or so it'd fray a little at the end, so I'd re-melt it to seal it up, but it finally got too short to use. This was a great belt - fairly thick nylon, but still soft and comfortable, and I haven't been able to find a direct replacement - I've tried 3 other new Bison belts that I haven't liked as much for various reasons.
This new 38mm belt is the best replacement I've found. The nylon is stiff enough that it can be easily threaded through belt loops, but soft enough to be comfortable. The material is thinner than my old belt, but this doesn't seem to affect its comfort, durability, or performance. It's also wider (38mm instead of 30mm), so there are a few pairs of my pants on which the loops are too small to fit this belt. So I have to keep an alternative available. The buckle on this belt is rather tall and narrow, but it's still easy to use, and holds securely.
Overall I'd highly recommend this if you're looking for a practical, durable, comfortable belt, and if most of your pants' belt loops will fit a belt of this width. Sierra's price was excellent.
