This is my first time owning a jacket of this quality, with amazing insulation but no bulk. It is January in Vermont and I am staying warm. Happy as can be. I love the stretchy bit at the ends of the sleeves. It makes it easy to pull the jacket on and off and it keeps the sleeves in place. The hood is very big. I read that it is designed to fit over a helmet, and it certainly would. But it stays on for me since the jacket zips up high over the chin. The purple is a great color, too. I am 5'11 and 175 pounds and a large is perfect for me. It is actually long enough for my extra long torso and plenty long for my arms, both of which are rare for me to find in regular-sized women's clothing.
