Update: I've sprung a leak, so I'm deducting a star from my original review!Reviewed by Ron from New York on Friday, November 28, 2014I can't tell you how disappointed I was to step into the first wet snow of the season and feel wetness come directly through the front of both shoes.
As another reviewer pointed out, they look "wintery," but the stitching is apparently not up to slush and snow, despite a thorough application of silicon spray.
I'm not going to return them, but they're getting moved to the back of the closet....

I have a high arch and had to place the buckle on the last hole to accommodate my foot. Otherwise, I like the shoe and the comfort it provides my feet. I work in a busy medical clinic and log 3-4 miles per day on my feet while working. I look first to support and comfort, secondly at looks. These are working for me!

That said, my foot size vacillates between 8.5 and 9 depending on manufacturer and the 8.5 in these were a little snug. I wear an 8.5 in Keen footwear-so that translates to a 9 in these. Hope that helps any Keen wearers who are looking to purchase these!

PracticalVerified Buyer Reviewed by Another old lady from Arizona on Wednesday, April 16, 2014One of the best things about this shoe is the buckle really works, it isn't a fake that relies on elastic alone (though there is elastic). Grips well enough so it isn't really a "slide in" shoe, doesn't flop on the heel. The innersole feels like air bubbles squishing around. Massaging when walking, a little tight when sitting, and I wonder what happens when the bubbles start to leak. The soles are nice for working, not a lot of convolutions to catch dirt. I'm only marking it down for the strange insole, and, they are not waterproof or even water reluctant.

They still do! I like the casual look and love the comfort! They're well-made and will handle the uneven streets I have to walk on.

As expected, there's plenty of room in the toebox and the adjustable arch strap (with a bit of elastic attached to the buckle) allows for my high arch. Unlike some of my other Borns, though, the heel on this one is a bit wide so the shoe slips when I walk--even with a heavier sock.
If you have a wide forefoot and narrower heel, this may not be the style for you.
