However, the medium size, which I normally wear, was too tight through the chest, waist and hips. I returned it for a large, which is just right with or without a sweater underneath. As the description implies, this is definitely a cool weather jacket. I wore it first in a mid-seventies temperature and light rain, and it was too warm for extended hiking, even with pit zips open. If you need a waterproof windbreaker for cool/cold wet weather, this is a good choice.

This also doubles as rainwear. My friend showed up with the green one in Portugal in the Spring. We were at sea up to 12 hours and in some weather. He was not only warm but dry. The coat was stylish and as soon as I returned I got the Yellow one. I like the fact that it works as a shell and will likely give it some duty on the ski slopes this Winter. Great fit, nice styling and versatile utility.
