They are sturdy and attractive, have good pockets, with zip-off legs. Fit is closer than similar pants I have from REI, which works well for me with a lean frame. My wife says they look so good I could wear them out to dinner. I have shirts from Columbia which I wear a lot. These pants seem the same good quality.

These pants are not comfortable to sit in, and could use a redesign of the pattern used for the butt and crotch, way to tight for active wear but maybe good for a Chippendale act.

Light weight, quick drying and can't beat the price. I ordered a size up on the waist from what I usually get and it fit perfectly, so I assume it runs a little small. I just wore it on a backpacking trip to the grand canyon and they worked great. The only minor down size is the ankle are doesn't have a zip so you have to take off your shoes to convert to shorts. Otherwise very good.
