They sent me a new one and this one constantly gets stuck on the valve or lets air escape.

Whatever valve mechanism it uses to make air flow one way simply doesn't work. Sometimes it engages halfway down, sometimes not at all, so you never know when you'll hit resistance and get at least some air into the tire, or whether it will just go down without any resistance (or air flow). Not worth it to return.
