4.0 out of 5 stars. Good shirtVerified Buyer Reviewed by KK the traveler from California on Sunday, September 4, 2016Nice shirt, but is quite long. Also, it says not to iron it, but there are numerous creases that only an iron would take out. I tried soaking it in water, but the creases remain. Maybe it doesn't matter for shirts like this.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Seems to work OKVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Midwest USA on Sunday, July 3, 2016Bought this because my dermatologist said I needed to wear high UPF 50 + shirts to protect my skin from damaging sun exposure. Worn the shirt several times it feels light and cool, haven't had it long enough to give a long term review. I am pleased with the style and feel of this shirt. I would purchase another similar to this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars. most excellent and versatile shirtReviewed by allroad from mountains and high desert on Friday, June 17, 2016This short sleeve ExOfficio Air strip has become my favorite shirt because of the fabric. Feels like a quality light cotton with a nice hand and feel--very light but just substantial enough. This is remarkable because it has the technical advantages of three quarters nylon, one quarter polyester, but has the feel and livability of cotton. This makes the short sleeve version versatile in a range of situations and seasons and not just super hot settings where a gossamer shirt is called for.
This shirt is so versatile I'd hoped it was the same in the long sleeve version but that long sleeve version has thinner, lighter weight fabric (and different pockets as mentioned in the other review). The long sleeve version clings and is wispy like silk. Too bad because this is a good enough shirt I would want the versatility of a long sleeve version too.
This shirt has a couple technical features that seem too busy and detract slightly from versatility but that's an individual preference and easily coped with.
Favorite things besides the fabric include 1) perfectly proportioned pockets, 2) straight cut (no shirt tails) for ideal untucked look that can also be tucked in, 3) nice pointed collar shape and proportion that looks as good unbuttoned as otherwise. These three things with the good fabric make it the ideal basic shirt for an amazingly wide range of situations. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great sporting shirtVerified Buyer Reviewed by Edward from Utah on Monday, May 9, 2016This ExOfficio shirt fits my needs to a tee!!! With its UPF rating and mesh ventilation it is perfect for outings in Southern Utah. One of the best features for me are the two large front pockets. With the velcro closures they are the perfect place for my iphone. Easy to hear the ring, convenient location and do not have to fumble through pants pockets to find it. The wide variety of colors makes it the go to shirt for most days...

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shirt!Verified Buyer Reviewed by South Texas Transplant from South Texas, Ya'll! on Friday, February 12, 2016I had bought several of these shirts in long sleeves, and was a little disappointed in the cargo pocket size and placement. The cargo pockets were huge (a plus, I carry a lot of stuff!) and placed low on the chest so that the overall visual impression was that I wear my trousers up around my armpits!
These short sleeved shirts have slightly smaller pockets (still big enough to carry my big honking cell phone in one) and they are placed higher on the chest so that it avoids the above visual.
Fabric washes up nicely and if you take them out of the dryer promptly, few / no wrinkles.
Top notch quality, as is all of Ex Officio's products. I'm a walking advertisement for them. At Sierra Trading Post pricing, how can you go wromg?
