My daughter wore all winter with udovolstviem.Ey only 5 years old, I took a 6 size. Free, but not a great coat. Will be worn with pleasure and even next winter. With warm jacket walked in it minus 15 Celsius.

I bought a 3t for my 2 1/2 year old (who is in the 60th percentile for height/weight), and it was swimming. It was too big for my 4 year old too. Saving it for when my 4 year old is 5 next winter, because it wasnt worth sending back.
It seemed very warm though, but a little bulky (which I dont like for carseats). -

The exterior fabric is a thin nylon. Since my daughter hasn't started wearing it yet, we will see if the fabric holds up with time and also if it will be warm enough for winters in Upstate NY. The coat does seem to run large. The 2T is quite roomy on my petite (mid-range height percentile; very low weight percentile) almost two and a half year old.

Not very closed neck, but for my daughter until slightly larger coat. I think a scarf or scarfhat will fix situation. Demi-season coat, suitable for temperatures from +5 to -5, maybe even colder (to -7-10), whichever is put down.
