They are not at all cushy (my first criteria for shoes, usually), but they're very comfortable. The shaping of the foot bed is such that my feet feel well supported structurally, and protected from impact.
My feet are a half size. I ordered down, which was not a good decision. Because they're so adjustable I can make them work, but my toes go just past the front edge of the sole. The adjustable places are all at max - and it's comfortable. Very good shoes. And very good looking, too! -

The flaw, as I see it, is that the instep strap with the velcro is too short. I can keep it closed but just! It needs to be about 2-3 inches longer so people with varying insteps are able to close it easily. They are very comfortable from day one but Ill be surprised if they hold up as well as others of the same make. Paying lots and expect the best from Joseph Seibel products.

I buy Josef Seibel shoes year around. I found them more stylish than Clark's and they look so nice in the summer with shorts or skirts. I have them in four different colors. They were a good price on sale and cheaper than having to get them shipped from Europe every time.

The shoes were too narrow in the forefoot for my feet and bordering on too short. The blue is more navy that it appears in the photo, which wasn't a problem. But I did have to return them. I appreciate STP's return policies.

I did that even though this brand has been short on me in my usual size (41) before. No surprise, these are too short and are going back.

However they run short. They also do not have much cushion in the footbed. Would have loved to wear them with jeans or a skirt, but had to return them because they did not fit.

They're super comfortable, having footbeds that are generally molded to one's foot. They don't have as much arch support as I need, but I have crazy high arches, so I expect to compensate on my own. Still, I was very impressed with how the sandal molds to my foot and allows for adjustment in the straps (via velcro). I know I'll be wearing these for a long time. Yay!

Also provide good support. I wore them for an evening out and forgot I was wearing new shoes because they are so well fitting and comfortable. Have not tested them with a whole day on my feet so withheld the 5th star.
